India Wants Tesla's Manufacturing Plans Before Reducing Tax On EVs
Following Tesla's request to reduce import duty on electric cars, the Indian government has asked the company to share the details of its manufacturing plans before taking any decision on tax breaks. The government also wants to know Tesla's thoughts on "importing fully built cars or partially built vehicles that help reduce import duty". In July, Tesla requested Indian to reduce the tax to 40% from 60-100%.

Priority Plan Notice: TRAI Extends Deadline for Vodafone-Idea to Reply
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) extended the deadline to September 8 for Vodafone-Idea Limited (VIL) to respond to notice regarding it's priority plans. VIL had announced a 'pay-for-priority' tariff for customers to avail special priorities in service, which was against TRAI's norms. The deadline was extended for the third time for VIL to respond.
