In the latest update, Meta owned WhatsApp has a new feature update. As per sources,  WhatsApp is planning to introduce a new major feature 'audio chats' now, which will be playable only once and available within conversations in a future update. Furthermore, a source tracking updates said, "new feature called audio chats, available within your conversations in a future update of the app."

To address the boiling concerns regarding its updated privacy policy, WhatsApp released a blog post on January 12. As per the tech giant, the new policy does not affect the privacy of messages exchanged with friends or family. Besides, the company stated it does not share private messages or location data with Facebook. However, specific business conversations hosted with Facebook may be accessed and subjected to marketing purposes.
