Delhi HC Grants Time To WhatsApp & Facebook Over CCI Probe
As a relief to Facebook and WhatsApp, the Delhi High Court granted time to respond to the Competition Commission of India (CCI) notice. Recently, the CCI issued notice seeking response over privacy policies of the two apps. Notably, the matter is pending before the High Court and is under judicial custody. Considering the same, the Division bench of Delhi HC granted time and adjourned the matter to March 30.

Delhi HC Rejects FB, WhatsApp Plea Challenging CCI Probe On Privacy Policy
The pleas by Facebook and WhatsApp challenging the Competition Commission of India's probe order into the new privacy policy was rejected on April 22 by Delhi HC. While the giants alleged CCI of drifting far away from competition to privacy, HC stated that not allowing the investigation will ‘perverse order of CCI. Earlier, the CCI affirmed that the new privacy policy aims excessive data collection and stalking of users.

79% Users Reconsidering To Use WhatsApp; Telegram, Signal Gain
