Karnataka HC Issues Orders, Lists Plea Of Aaj Tak Anchor To Sep 19

The Karnataka Hight Court on September 15 turned down the request by Aaj Tak TV news anchor Sudhir Chaudhary in which the journalist had requested to quash the FIR registered against him by Bengaluru police. However, the court said that it will hear the matter on Tuesday September 19 and told the state government to not take any "preciptiative action."

Priyanka Gandhi is set to address the youth rally, organised in Hyderabad. During her visit, Priyanka Gandhi recalled the sacrifices made by Sonia Gandhi for the statehood of the Telugu State of Telangana. Ahead of the 2023 Telangana elections, Gandhi assured providing 2 lakh jobs for youths and Rs 4,000 for unemployed youths in the State, if in power. Moreover, she also accused the ruling BRS Government of dictatorship.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra  hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over a joke made by him involving a suicide note, saying the PM and those laughing heartily at his joke ought to educate themselves better rather than "ridicule" mental health issues in an "insensitive" manner. Notably, in an interview, PM Modi joke about a suicide note, read by a professor who pointed out spelling mistake of daughter's note.
