Fire Cracker Unit In WB Explodes, 7 Injured, 5 Killed
An explosion at an illegal firecracker unit located in Egra in Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal killed five people and critically injured seven others on Tuesday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said. The impact of the explosion "was so massive" that the factory, which was being run from a residential building, collapsed, police said. Furthermore, the TMC leader demanded a probe into the explosion.

UP CM Orders Probe In Atiq Ahmed Killing, Forms Panel
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath ordered a probe into the Killing of Atiq Ahmed, the gangster-turned-politician and his brother. For this, the Government formed a special three-member panel. After Atiq's son Asad died in a encounter, Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were also killed. BBC Send Fresh E-Mails To Employees, Asks To Cooperate With IT Officials
Amid the ongoing IT-Raids at the BBC offices in Delhi and Mumbai, the US company issued a mail to all its employees of these two branches. In the February 15 mail, they asked employees to cooperate with the tax officials and answer their questions comprehensively. In addition, the BBC asked the employees to refrain from answering questions on personal income, but to answer other salary-related queries.

3 Chief Fire Officers Booked For Issuing NoC To Twin Tower Buildings In Noida
In Noida, three chief fire officers were allegedly booked for giving a fire no objection certificate (NoC) to the twin towers. The case has been registered after an investigation conducted by a committee under the chairmanship of the Deputy Inspector General (DIG). As per the probe, the twin towers building violates basic building norms of the construction and could be demolished as per the SC orders.

Thanjavur Temple: 11 Dead Due To Electrocution, Probe On
