Ford India Resumes Production Work At Tamil Nadu Plant
Ford India resumed production work in its Tamil Nadu plant, after some employees consented to work again. Approximately 150-300 employees resumed work and signed papers, promising double shift work from June 14. It is to be noted, Tamil Nadu employees of car making company Ford India, went on illegal strike since May 30, demanding better work environment. While 150-300 returned, many are still protesting, with a loss of pay.

NMDC Sees One-Percent Year-On-Year Rise In Iron Ore Sales
The National Mineral Development Cooperation (NMDC) has seen a one-percent year-on-year rise in iron ore sales. The iron sales rose from 3.09 million tonnes last year to 3.12 million tonnes now. Sumir Deb, the chairman and managing director of NMDC, shared, "Having achieved the target of 42 million tonnes iron production, we are confident that NMDC will grow to become a 50 million tonnes mining company in the near future."

Oil Production Continues To Decline in India
A data released by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has revealed that India's oil production has declined by 3.2 percent in 2021. India's Oil production had previously declined by 3.37 percent in 2020. The decline seems to continue as India's largest oil and gas producer "ONGC" produced only 1.6 million tones of oil in 2021, which is 4.2 percent lower than last year.
