A promised Land

Barack Obama in his political memoir, 'A Promise Land', wrote that Rahul Gandhi was like a student who wanted to impress the teacher but lacked either the aptitude or the passion to master the subject. Obama described Rahul as "nervous and unformed". He further added that former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had "impassive integrity". However, Obama's remarks over Rahul have also drawn criticism from many Indians.
