Supertech Declared Insolvent, Home Buyers Affected
Property developer Supertech Ltd collapsed after the national Company Law Tribunal sent a petition filed by Union Bank of India for non-payment of dues. Daughters To Inherit Father's Self-Acquired Property In absence Of Legal Heir: SC
The Supreme Court on January 20, stated that the daughters of a male Hindu, dying intestate, would be entitled to inherit the self-acquired properties. She will have rights over properties obtained in the partition by the father and get preference over other collateral members of the family, SC further added. The judgment deals with the property rights of Hindu women and widows under the Hindu Succession Act.

Reliance Denies Ambani's Family Moving To London
Reliance Industries recently bought a property worth Rs 592 crore in London. Following this, speculations went around about the family relocating to London. In a statement published by Reliance, they denied the "baseless" speculation of Mukesh Ambani's family partly shifting to Stoke Park in London. अंडरवर्ल्ड डॉन दाऊद इब्राहिम की रत्नगिरि में 13 सम्पत्तियों में से सात सम्पत्तियों की अक्टूबर 11 को नीलामी हो गयी। सात सम्पत्तियों में से छह सम्पत्तियाँ दाऊद के दो वकीलों को मिली है। भूपेंद्र भरद्वाज को प्रॉपर्टी 4 ,5 ,7 ,8 मिली है, वहीं अजय श्रीवास्तव को प्रॉपटी 6 ,और 9 मिली है। दाऊद की हवेली वकील अजय श्रीवास्तव को मिली है जो कि 11 लाख 20 हजार की बिकी है।

Real Estate Boom in Ayodhya After Ram Mandir's 'Bhoomi Pujan'
Property prices have seen a raise in Ayodhya after the Bhumi Pujan of Ram Mandir. Reportedly, Land prices have seen an increase of almost 30-40% since 'Bhumi Pujan' and Supreme Court's verdict in 2019. Vinod Kumar Shrivastava, professor of Awadh University said, "because of hike in prices local administrations put sanctions on new registrations in certain parts of the district as there are some areas which require environment clearance."

Telangana CM Orders to Speed Up the Online Registration of Properties
Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao has directed officials to speed-up the process of 'online registration of properties' in the state. Speaking at a meeting about the 'Dharani Portal', he stated that all the residential and non-agricultural properties in both urban and rural areas have to be registered online within 15 days. He told that all the officials should join hands to increase the transparency in maintenance of land records.
