Rameswaram-Dhanushkodi Rail Line To Be Restored Soon, Proposes Govt

The South Railways came up with a new proposal to restore the Rameswaram-Dhanushkodi rail line soon. Destroyed in 1964, the restoration of the line track connecting two destinations in Tamil Nadu will ease travel for people. An official said the new rail track will have an 18-km line, three stations, and one terminal station.  Since the 1964 Tsunami, the Dhanushkodi station was out of service, which finally will be restored.

Centre Planning To Levy 'Green Tax' On More Than 8-year-old Vehicles

Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on January 25 nodded to levy ‘Green Tax' on above eight-year-old vehicles. Miracle: 32-Year-Old Woman Survives After Falling 650 Metres Clifftop

A 32-year-old woman survived after falling off a clifftop in Austria. The woman was saved by a carpet of snow on which she fell from a height of 650 metre. After saying 'yes' to her boyfriend over the cliff, she slipped over the rocks and fell from the Falkart mountain in Carinthia. The 27-year-old fiance who jumped over the cliff to save her girlfriend, was rescued after soaring nearly 50-feet through the air.
