BJP Telangana Unit Calls For Maha Dharna On March 25

The BJP unit in Telangana called for a day-long "Maha Dharna" at Indira Park, Hyderabad. The protest was called by BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay Kumar on March 25, against the recent TSPSC Paper Leak matter. Sources confirmed that BJP announced extending support to 30 lakh students, who suffered due to exam paper leaks, which led to the cancellation of three recruitment exams. Meanehile, investigation in matter is underway.

Assam Police Continues Crackdown Against Child Marriage, Arrests 2,500 People

In Assam, the police is cracking down on the cases of child marriage cases, registered in the State.  With over 4,074 cases of child marriages, the Assam Police continued their arrests for a third day in a row and arrested nearly 2,500 people for marrying minor girls or facilitating such marriages. Reacting to this, many citizens staged a protest against the State Police and demanded the release of those arrested.

Farmers Protests Against Union Govt, Demands Sacking Of Minister Ajay Mishtra

Farmers in Punjab staged a protest and demanded sacking of Union minister of state for home Ajay Mishra, amid the Lakhimpur accident, in which eight people, including four farmers, were killed. The Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee (KMSC) blocked rail traffic for three hours from Monday noon on the first anniversary of the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.
