Haryana: Court Denies Bail To 19 Yr Old For Hate Speeches
A 19-year-old male who was arrested for making hate speeches and urging the abduction and killing of girls from a particular religious community, has been denied bail by the Haryana court. The court has said that it was shocked by the actions of the 19 year old and cannot allow such hatemongers to roam the streets. The court has also urged the police to protect citizens regardless of faith or caste.

Labour Activist Nodeep Kaur Granted Bail By Punjab And Haryana HC
Labour activist Nodeep Kaur, accused under the charges of extortion and attempt to murder, has been granted bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on February 26. Kaur was arrested after an FIR against her was lodged at the Kundli Police Station in Haryana's Sonipat on January 12. However, the activist has claimed that allegations against her are not true, and she is being targetted for extending her support to the farmers' protest.

Punjab And Haryana High Court Terms Marrying First Cousin Illegal
In a response to a petition, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has pronounced that marriage between the first cousins would be illegal. The court was hearing the petition after an FIR was filed against a 21-year-old man who was in a live-in relationship with his minor cousin and wanted to marry her. Moreover, the state counsel argued that the live-in-relationship between the man and the girl was unethical since marriage was prohibited.
