Congress DAC Suspends Lok Sabha MP Praneet Kaur
The Congress suspended Praneet Kaur, the wife of former Punjab CM Captain Amrinder Gill. On February 3, the party said, Lok Sabha MP Kaur has been suspended by the Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) for anti party activities to help the BJP. "Hon'ble Congress President has received a complaint from Shri Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, President, PCC Punjab alleging that Smt. Preneet Kaur," read the press release.

Twitter Handle Of UP Govt, Punjab Congress Hacked, Restored Later
Early on April 11, the official Twitter handles of the Uttar Pradesh Government and the Punjab Congress were hacked by an unknown. The news came to light after the hackers shared a series of random posts on the feed. However, the two accounts were restored immediately. In the past few days, unknown hackers are targeting official websites of national agencies like IMD, UGC, and others.

Amarinder Singh Will Be The 'Face Of Next Punjab Polls': Harish Rawat
Harish Rawat, the AICC chief of Punjab, has made it clear on August 25 that the 2022 Punjab elections will be "fought" under the leadership of CM Captain Amarinder Singh. Rawat's announcement has come after several Punjab Congress leaders demanded to remove Singh as he is "not suitable for the party and the state".
