LeT Terror Module Busted By Punjab Police, 2 J&K Resident Arrested
In a major breakthrough, SSOC-Amritsar in a joint operation with Central agency busted a LeT module and arrested 2 persons who are residents of J&K. 2 IEDs, 2 Hand Grenades, 1 pistol with 2 Magazines, 24 cartridges, 1 Timer Switch, 8 Detonators & 4 Batteries recovered. The terror module was handled by Firdaus Ahmed Bhat, an active member of the Lashkar-e-Toiba. The details were confirmed by Punjab Police.

Stone Pelting Reported In Moga District, Police Alerted
The Shivamogga district administration has clamped prohibitory orders in the Ragi Gudda area here, where tension prevailed following alleged incidents of stone pelting on Sunday (October 1), police officials said. According to police sources, an angry mob is said to have thrown stones at a few houses and vehicles, and injuring several people, allegedly following the rumours of stone pelting in the region.

Punjab Police Nabs Suspect With 10 Gram Ganja, Probe Launched
Punjab police on September 11, claimed to have unearthed an inter-state weapons supply gang with the arrest of three of its members. The police said that the gang was busted after the teams nabbed a suspect on September 4, near Lalheri village, who was identified as Vishal Kumar, and recovered a pistol of 315 bore and 10 grams of heroin from his possession.

Punjab Police Constable, 3 Others Arrested In 4-Months Old Cannon Steal Case
Nearly four months after a heritage cannon weighing around 250 kg went missing from the premises of the Gazetted Officers’ Mess of the Punjab Armed Police (PAP) in Chandigarh’s Sector 1. They apprehended three people, including a cook and a minor, for allegedly trying to sell it to scrap dealers, identified as Subham Sharma(23,) a constable with the 82nd Battalion of the PAP, and Sanjay Kumar(29,) a DJ from Kaimbwal.

Search For Khalistani Leader Amritpal Singh Enters Day 6
The Punjab Police continued their hunt to nab Amritpal Singh, a leader of Khalistani group, for the sixth day, March 23.
