Taking a dig at the Arvind Kejriwal led AAP, Punjab Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu said, "New batteries for the Delhi remote control, it's blinking ….. Harbhajan is an exception, the rest are batteries and betrayal of Punjab!" Notably, the AAP nominated LPU Founder Ashok Mittal, MLA Raghav Chadha, IIT-Delhi Faculty Sandeep Pathak, former cricketer Harbhajan, and industrialist Sanjeev Arora for Punjab Rajya Sabha polls on March 31.

Arvind Kejriwal's Wife, Daughter To Visit Punjab On Feb 11: Punjab Polls
Ahead of the Punjab elections, AAP Chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's wife and daughter are likely to visit Punjab on February 11, for campaigning. CM's wife Sunita Kejriwal and daughter Harshita Kejriwal will attend 'Jansabha' with Punjab CM face Bhagwat Mann in the Dhuri area, as per AAP. Delhi CM has promised the development of the state if voted to power. Meanwhile, Punjab elections are scheduled for February 20.

Amarinder Singh Will Be The 'Face Of Next Punjab Polls': Harish Rawat
Harish Rawat, the AICC chief of Punjab, has made it clear on August 25 that the 2022 Punjab elections will be "fought" under the leadership of CM Captain Amarinder Singh. Rawat's announcement has come after several Punjab Congress leaders demanded to remove Singh as he is "not suitable for the party and the state". "We'll look into the matter. why a large number of MLAs are disappointed," said Rawat.

Kejriwal To Support Farmers' Movement In 2022 Punjab Poll
Before the upcoming 2022 Assembly polls in Punjab, AAP party chief Arvind Kejriwal met with the party's Punjab MLAs in New Delhi to discuss the winning strategy. Reportedly, the meeting lasted for three hours and Kejriwal decided to fully support the farmers' movement in the state. Kejriwal said the Centre ''should immediately repeal the anti-agriculture black laws''. Moreover, he also advised the MLAs to campaign door to door.
