Internet Services, SMS Suspended In Punjab Province Until March 21

All mobile internet services, all SMS (except banking and recharges) services have been suspended in the region of Punjab province, until March 21. The Department of Home Affairs and Justice, Government of Punjab took the decision in view of the interest of the public and the safety of Punjab citizens. Recently, the Punjab Police arrested Khalistani terrorist Amrit Pal Singh, which led to a protest in Punjab.

3 Dead, 59 Injured In Bomb Blast During Muharram Procession: Pakistan

An attacker threw a hand grenade during a Muharram procession in central Pakistan's Punjab province, leaving three people dead and 59 injured, on August 19. Reportedly, 500 were involved in the procession when the blast took place. The police launched the investigation after arresting the attacker. Chairing a high-level meeting on the blast, Punjab CM has ordered the Counter Terrorism Department to submit its report.
