Water Pumps To Be Installed To Avoid Water-Logging: Delhi Govt

The Delhi government has instructed the officials to install water pumps in order to solve the waterlogging issue during heavy rainfall. CM Arvind Kejriwal, earlier, on August 24 chaired a meeting over Drainage Master Plan and had instructed the PWD & Water Minister Satyendar Jain to take initiatives to resolve the problem. However, the PWD officials have identified 147 water logging sites across the city.

Maharastra CM's Signed File Gets Doctored; Police Registers Forgery Case

Anti-Corruption Bureau Nabs ex-PWD Minister Of Kerala In Corruption Charges

Former Kerala Minister VK Ibrahim Kunju was arrested by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau from a hospital in Kochi under the charges of releasing the state's fund inappropriately. Kunju, ex-PWD minister has been accused of releasing advance money to builder of Palarivattom flyover, affecting the state exchequer.
