The International Football Association (FIFA) has sold 2.45 million tickets for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with less than 100 days until the start. Fans from Qatar, the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, France, Argentina, Brazil, and Germany purchased the most tickets. From November 20 to December 18, the Middle East and Arab nations will host the maiden FIFA World Cup.

Armed Men Storm Local Factory, Gun Down 29 Dogs: Qatar
At a local factory in Qatar, about 29 dogs were shot dead by a group of armed men, who also injured several others. The incident has created an outrage among netizens on social media. Though Qatar authorities have not commented on the incident yet, Sheikha Al Mayasa Bint Hamad Al Thani, the sister of Qatar's ruler Emir Tamim has condemned the incident, and called it "unacceptable".

Taliban & Qatar To Sign Security Pact; Taliban's Defence Minister Returns From Qatar Visit
Upon Taliban's acting defence minister Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid's return from his Qatar visit, he said that Qatar is interested in signing a security pact with Afghanistan. He said that the agreement will be assessed by the officials. After which, a decision will be taken regarding signing of the said agreement. He further stated that he has requested Qatar's assistance in providing salaries, uniforms and equipments to Taliban forces.

Footage from the cockpit of a plane, a pilot attempting to land a Boeing 777 during Storm Eunice has gone viral. On February 19, Captain Khalifa Al-Thani, who was flying from Qatar landed the plane at Heathrow Airport in London. Reportedly, the video was shared by Big Jet TVs, where Captain Al-Thani was witnessed being calm until the plane landed safely. However, everyone praised the pilot.

Afghanistan Medical Crisis: 90% Health Facilities Are About To Shut
About 90% of 2300 health facilities in Afghanistan are about to shut due to the undemocratic laws of the Taliban. "We are hoping to have up to two-three plane-loads of supplies airlifted from the government of Qatar probably into Kabul in the next week or so," Rick Brennan, WHO regional director said. Several western donors that sponsor the health infrastructure in Afghan, are being prevented from making any deal.

Qatar To Build Luxurious Eco-Friendly Floating Hotel By 2025
Qatar will soon have an eco-luxury floating hotel to be built in the middle of the ocean. Developed by Turkish company 'Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio', the 152-room hotel will generate electricity from rotation. In addition, the hotel consists of rooftop bars, spa and an infinity pool to make a trip memorable. Slated to get completed by 2025, the hotel boasts of high mobility allowing guests entry by boats or by helicopters.
