PM Modi To Roll Out E-Voucher Digital Payment 'e-RUPI'
PM Modi will roll out an e-voucher digital payment service, namely "e-RUPI" for digital payments on August 2 via a videoconference. Reportedly, this instrument will act as a "QR code or SMS-based e-Voucher" which is delivered to the beneficiaries. "The users of this one-time payment mechanism will be able to redeem the voucher without a card, digital payments app, or internet banking access," said a PMO statement.

Telangana To Push Digital Learning With QR-Code Embedded Textbooks
Telangana's School Education Department has incorporated QR-codes in all secondary level State-syllabus textbooks for 2021-22 academic year. Snapdeal Joins Hand With NPCI To Help Buyers Pay Through QR Codes
Partnering with National Payment Corporation of India, e-commerce platform Snapdeal has allowed its users to pay via QR-based payment option. The move aims to target new customers who are not comfortable with pre-paid orders.
