Quad To Establish Satellite-Based Marine Security System In Indo-Pacific To Tackle China's Illicit Fishing

China Warns Bangladesh Of Cutting Bilateral Ties If It Joins Quad

China has warned Bangladesh against its participation in the Quad and threatened directly of substantial damage to bilateral ties. Terming the Quad as anti-China, Chinese ambassador Li Jiming in Dhaka said “We do not want any form of participation of Bangladesh in this alliance.” China urged Bangladesh to resist powers from outside from seeking hegemony in South Asia as three of four Quad participants- US, Japan and Australia are outsiders.… read-more
