5-Day Quarantine Is Mandatory For Kerala People In Goa

As the COVID-19 cases are rising in Kerala, Goa on September 12 made the five-day quarantine mandatory for those who're coming from Kerala. Following the quarantine, they've to undergo an RT-PCR test. The government also extended the 24-hour statewide curfew until September 20 and banned Casinos' opening. However, no quarantine is required for health care professionals, kids below two years of age, and in case of a medical emergency.

Switzerland Allows Fully Vaccinated Visitors From India

Switzerland has eased the COVID-19 restrictions from June 26, and has allowed the entry of travellers from other countries including India. People who have been vaccinated and fully recovered with COVID-19 will now be permitted without the need for a negative test report or quarantine. The information about the same was shared by the Swiss government’s Federal Council of Public Health.

Maldives Govt Asks Bengaluru FC To Leave Country For Quarantine Breach

Indian football club Bengaluru FC has come under scanner for flouting quarantine rules in the Maldives. Calling it an unacceptable behavior, Maldives Sports Minister Ahmed Mahloof asked the team to leave the country in his May 8 tweet. Meanwhile, the Bengaluru FC owner Part Jindal has apologised on behalf of team. Reportedly, the club was to face Maldives' Club Eagles in an encounter scheduled on May 11.

Telangana: 14-Day Quarantine Mandatory For Kumbh Mela Returnees

People returning to Telangana from Haridwar Kumbh Mela will have to undergo a 14-day mandatory quarantine as the state government has issued an order regarding the same. Besides, the government has also advised to symptomatic returnees to get tested immediately. Reportedly, the state's count for COVID patients has logged 3.79 lakh as 6,206 fresh cases emerged in a single day with 29 deaths taking the total fatality count to 1,928.

Hawaii To Permit Tourists With Negative Covid-19 Certificate to Bypass Quarantine
