A$5 To Not Have Queen Elizabeth II's Portrait: Reserve Bank Of Australia

The Australian Central Bank said, they will replace the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II from its A$5 currency note with a new design to reflect and honour the history of its Indigenous culture. However, the change will not impact the feature of the Australian Parliament on the other side of note. The decision was taken after consultation with the federal government, said the Reserve Bank of Australia on February 2.

Indian president Droupadi Murmu met King Charles III during her visit to Buckingham palace on September 18. She also signed the condolence book for Queen Elizabeth II at Lancaster house in London. Ahead of the scheduled funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, president Murmu offered tributes to the late Queen at Westminster hall, where the coffin is placed. She is expected to return to India after the funeral on September 19.
