6 Militants Killed In Pakistan's Balochistan Province
Pakistani security forces killed six terrorists during an operation conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department in the Balochistan province. On the outskirts of the Eastern Bypass area of Quetta, the terrorists opened fire at the security forces, resulting in the death of six terrorists, said CTD, reported ARY News. Earthquake Strikes Southern Pakistan; 20 Dead, 200 Wounded
Earthquake struck southern Pakistan early in the morning of October 7 while people were sleeping. It killed nearly 20 people, and more than 200 were wounded. Many of the casualties were killed when roofs and walls fell following the 5.7 magnitude earthquake that hit the Balochistan region, with a power-outage requiring health-personnel to treat the injured with flashlights. The most hit location was Harnai and was also felt in Quetta.
