Google To Pay $2.6 Million To Settle Probe Over Pay, Hiring Biases
Google has agreed to pay about $2.6 million to settle the case in which the internet giant is accused of underpaying several female employees and discriminating women and Asians in its hiring processes. Serena Williams Reveals Her Experience Over Colour-based Discrimination
Tennis player Serena Williams, in magazine British Vogue's, opened up about her experience regarding colour-based discrimination. She said that she suffered the feeling of being “underpaid, undervalued” because of her skin colour. She expressed that she never wanted to have a lighter complexion. "I like who I am, I like how I look, and I love representing the beautiful dark women out there," she added.
