Mocked For Our Looks: BTS Releases Anti-Racism Statement
Korean Boyband BTS, on March 29, stated the ongoing racism incidents against Asians along with their racism experiences. The group recalled how they were mocked for their looks and were asked why Asians spoke in English. Besides, they had offered condolences to families who lost their loved ones to racism. BTS' anti-racism stand comes after eight people were shot in three Asian massage parlours in Atlanta on March 16.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah Condemns Racist Remarks On Indian Cricketers
Taking a strong stance on the racist comments towards Indian players, the BCCI secretary Jay shah on January 10 said that discrimination would not be tolerated. Shah said that BCCI has communicated with Cricket Australia and have been ensured strict action against the spatters. US: Statue Of Enslaved Man Kneeling Before Abraham Lincoln Removed
In the wake of the George Floyd incident that happened in June, Boston authorities have decided to remove a statue of an enslaved man kneeling before Abraham Lincoln after 141 years. The statue depicted a nude man kneeling in front of fully dressed Lincoln. According to the activists, the statue highlighted racism. However, the sculpture would not be destroyed but only moved somewhere else, where it can be "better explained".

London: Indian-Origin Politician Suspended from Mayor Candidature Over Racist Remark
Liberal Democrat Party suspended Geeta Sidhu Rob, an Indian-origin entrepreneur-activist for making anti-jewish remarks in 1997. After the old footage of Rob became viral, the party cancelled her probable candidature from the London Mayor election 2021. She regretted over the remarks of the community and said, "I urge you to judge me on who I am today".The London Mayor elections will be held in May 2021.

Former Aussie Cricketer Dan Christian Talks about Racism in Australian Cricket
Former Australian Cricketer Dan Christian, on September 9, acknowledged that racism exists in Australian cricket. In a panel discussion, he stated that it's definitely there but not visible enough like in the other countries. He claimed that it was very casual with jokes on skin colour.
