Usha Mehta: The Brave Female Freedom Fighter

Usha Mehta was one of the many female freedom fighters who played a role in the fight for Indian independence. Along with a few others, Usha spread the message of a free India by transmitting information about the "Quit India Movement" through an underground radio, despite the censorship imposed at the time. Usha was eventually arrested and imprisoned for four years at Yerwada Jail, while receiving praise for her efforts.
