BJP Reportedly Offers Raj Thackeray's Son Position In Maharashtra Cabinet
The Bharatiya Janata Party has allegedly offered MNS head Raj Thackeray's son Amit Thackeray a position in the Maharashtra Cabinet. Amit Thackeray is not a member of the MLC or MLA. The reported move comes only weeks after Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde launched a coup that brought Uddhav Thackeray's cabinet down. The BJP seeks to put Amit Thackeray alongside Aaditya to attract the state's youth.

MNS Chief Raj Thackeray To Undergo Surgery For Back, Knee Pain
MNS President Raj Thackeray announced that he will undergo surgery on June 1. However, during a rally, he said, his party will continue 'anti-loudspeakers' agitation. On May 22, Thackeray said, "I shall be undergoing hip bone surgery on June 1... I have been in pain for some time in the legs and now also in the back." Post-surgery, MNS Chief will be back with his protest against mosque loudspeaker.

MNS Chief Thackeray To Address Rally In Pune, Police Issues Guidelines
MNS chief Raj Thackeray is scheduled to address a huge rally in Pune, on May 22. During the rally, Thackeray, who is in light due to loudspeaker row will share his details about the upcoming Ayodhya visit, on June 5 and address the public. In addition, the Pune police issued a list of 13 conditions, for the rally, restricting the use of abusive language, rioting, indecent behavior, or facing legal-actions.

Raj, Aaditya Thackeray To Visit Ayodhya In June
Aaditya Thackeray and MNS Chief Raj Thackeray are scheduled to visit Ayodhya in June separately. While Raj Thackeray would be paying a visit to Ayodhya on June 5, the Maharashtra Tourism Minister would be visiting the place on June 10 with a group of party workers. "Preparations for welcoming (the) Shiv Sena have begun in Ayodhya," shares Shiv Sena politician Sanjay Raut.

Maha Govt Afraid Of Raj Thackeray, Claims Sanjay Nirupam
Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam has claimed that the state government of Maharashtra is afraid of MNS chief Raj Thackeray. Expressing his disappointment over the lack of action against the MNS chief, Nirupam also called for Thackeray's arrest. "There is rule of law in the country and Maharshtra," he said, while adding, "anybody who poses a challenge against the law, they should be firmly dealt with."

A petition has been filed in the Bombay High Court demanding an FIR against MNS Chief Raj Thackeray under the sedition law. The plea would likely be mentioned for urgent hearing on 6th May. The petitioner, a Pune-based activist who runs an NGO, argues in the plea that Thackeray's remarks against NCP Chief Sharad Pawar could result in unrest among the party workers.

Petition Filed Against Raj Thackeray, Demand Sedition Charges On Him
Hemant Patil, a Pune-based activist filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, seeking FIR against MNS Chief Raj Thackeray under a sedition case. Notably, the petition filed on May 4, is against Thackeray, for creating nuisance during his May 1's Aurangabad rally. He took a dig at NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, which could bring political unrest in the State. Notably, Thackeray is creating a ruckus over the removal of the loudspeaker issue.
