Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, who also holds the Finance portfolio presented the last budget of the Congress-led state. CM Gehlot announced free bus travel as well as free electricity for the public. In addition, 100 units/month free electricity, Medical cover under Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme up to Rs 25 lakhs, Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries to get LPG cylinders at Rs 500 and other schemes for Rajasthan people.

Rajasthan CM Gehlot Apologises For Reading Old Budget
After criticism, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot apologized for reading an Old Budget, at the Rajasthan Budget Assembly. He said, "I feel sorry, what happened was by mistake." Pointing at the criticism of the BJP at the Parliament, Gehlot said, " If a page was added to my budget copy by mistake, how does the matter of leaking of budget arise?" Rajasthan Minister shared 2023 State Budget on February 10.
