4000 Litres Adulterated Milk Seized From Truck In Gujarat’s Rajankot

In Gujarat’s Rajkot, around 4,000 litres of adulterated milk has been seized from a truck at a check-post. Reportedly, the adulterated milk was made using chemicals like Sulfates, phosphates and carbonate oils. According to the police, the adulterated milk is being supplied to the cities from the past four months. The police then stated that the suppliers and the factory have been identified.

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel conducted an aerial survey of the areas affected by heavy rains, which resulted in a flood-like situation. During the survey, the CM took notice of the situation, and issued directions to the state authorities. A red alert has been issued in Rajkot, Jamnagar and Kutch. The Western Railway department reported that at least 10 trains were cancelled on July 12.

Flood-Like Situation In Gujarat's Rajkot Due To Incessant Rains; 1 Dead

In Gujarat's Rajkot, flood-like situation has been caused incessant rainfall, which has claimed at least one life, on July 12. An alert has been issued to residents living in the lower reaches. Meanwhile, two National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have been deployed in the area, and schools were closed. "We have around 500 backup ambulances and over 400 tractors and dumpers, said Rajkot Collector Arun Mahesh Babu.

5 Killed In Fire Accident At Rajkot's COVID-19 Hospital

Due to a fire allegedly caused by a short-circuit, five people have died in Uday Shuvanand Hospital in Gujarat's Rajkot in the wee hours of November 27. Reportedly, the deceased aged between 60 and 70. According to Rajkot Municipal Commissioner, three people have died on the spot. Additionally, two died while being shifted to another hospital. The fire department has rescued 30 patients and moved them to a private hospital.

Murderer Arrested; Allegedly Killing a 6-year-old in Rajkot

A 40-year-old accused was arrested from Gujarat's Karena village on September 19, after he murdered a 6-year-old in August for resisting rape. The Police informed that the criminal identified as Vikram was sentenced to jail for life in 2002, but escaped in 2012. The accused's image was circulated all over the WhatsApp. He had also raped a five-year-old girl in 2015, and allegedly tried to kill her.
