Rakesh Asthana Named as Delhi's New Police Commissioner

Rakesh Asthana, who is currently serving as the Chief of the Border Security Force (BSF) will hold the prestigious position of the Delhi Police Commissioner. IPS Officer Balaji Srivastava will be replaced by 1984 batch IPS Officer Asthana, as per the circular issued by MHA on July 27th. He has been given the post of Delhi Police Commissioner before three days he was to be superannuated.

BSF Says Pakistan Uses Drones For Spying, Smuggling Arms In India

BSF Director General Rakesh Asthana on February 3 accused Pakistan of using drones for spying and smuggling arms, explosives and narcotics in Indian territory, especially in Punjab and Jammu.
