Rahul Gandhi Promises Jobs If Congress Voted In Power: Karnataka
Rahul Gandhi pitched for the upcoming Karnataka elections and promised few welfares for the people. Unemployed graduates in Karnataka will be given Rs 3,000 per month for two years and diploma holders Rs 1,500 per month for the same duration, free-electricity, the government charges 40 per cent as commission from contractors, which will be stopped if the Indian National Congress voted in the power.

ECI Holds Review Meeting With Political Parties Ahead Of Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections
Review meeting were held by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to discuss the preparedness for the upcoming elections in Himachal Pradesh. The review meetings were held with Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police, IG, DIG, CAPF and Nodal officers of 12 districts. “Today we held a meeting with all political parties,” said Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar.

DU Teachers, Students Hold 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Rally For Independence Day

EC Seeks Clarification From Akhilesh Yadav Over Violation Of COVID Protocols
The Election Commission has demanded an answer from the Samajwadi Party (SP) before 5PM on January 16, for the violation of COVID norms at the 'Virtual Rally'. According to sources, the party was permitted to conduct meetings via online, but almost 2000 SP supporters gathered at the party's office in Lucknow on January 14. Home Minister Amit Shah To Address Public Rally In Ayodhya: UP Poll
Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections, Home Minister Amit Shah is set to address a public rally in Ayodhya at GIC ground, on December 31. 3 Police Suspended For 'Not Acting Legally' At Open Firing In Jan Ashirwad Yatra
Considering negligence action by three police present for the celebratory rally’s firing during Jan Ashirwad Yatra led by Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers, Bhagwanth Khuba, has been suspended on August 19. “Veeresh, Santhosh, and Mehboob from Yadgir rural police station were suspended for not acting legally after being present at the spot,” said Yadgir SP, Vedmurthy. Besides, enquiry for the case is under process.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Announced Current Election As His Last
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced on November 5 that Bihar Assembly Elections 2020 will be his last to contest. The surprise announcement came when the three-time CM was campaigning at Purnia's Dhamdhaha for phase 3 of the elections. During the rally, the CM added in Hindi, "All's well that ends well." Phase 3 voting starts on November 7 and results will be announced on November 10.
