NIA To Probe Ram Navami Clash Violence, Orders Calcutta HC
The Calcutta High Court ordered the West Bengal Police to hand over the Ram Navami Clash case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA.) On April 27, the HC reviewed a plea filed by West Bengal BJP leader Suvendhu Adhikari, who wanted an NIA probe into the Ram Navami clash, which occurred in the Hooghly region. The division bench ordered the State Police to hand over the case details to NIA.

Khargone Violence: Curfew Lifted After 24 Days Following Peace Committee Meeting
Madhya Pradesh's Khargone lifted the curfew, 24 days after it was imposed, on May 5. The curfew was imposed due to a communal violence that took place during a religious procession. The lifting of the curfew has come following a peace committee meeting by the administration. Notably, on April 10, violence erupted during the Ram Navami procession, which resulted in stone pelting and several persons being injured.

Properties Of Accused In 'Khambat Violence' Demolished: Gujarat
Khambat District Administration demolished encroached properties belonging to the accused in Khambat clash which broke out on Ram Navami. As per sources, on April 15, Gujarat police claimed that the Ram-Navami violence was a "planned conspiracy" and demolished the illegal construction. Sleeper Cell Suspected In Lohardaga Violence: Jharkhand
In Jharkhand's Lohardaga violence, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Arvind Kumar Lal suspected the role of sleeping cells, trying to disturb the harmony of the region. Continuing the investigation of the Ram Navami clash, Lal said, "The clash is not a result of sudden development but seems to be pre-planned and there's a conspiracy behind this". However, the SDO said, it is improper to say anything now as the investigation is underway.
