Akshay Kumar And Ram Setu Film's Makers Lands In Legal Trouble

Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie 'Ram Setu' is in trouble prior to release, after BJP leader Subramanian Swamy announced to sue the actor and makers. On July 31, Swamy tweeted to seek compensation from the makers for the false portrayal of Ram Setu in the film, starring Akshay Kumar, Nushrat Barucha and Jacquelin Fednavis. He also took a dig at Akshay Kumar's Canadian citizenship and said he should be sent back.

45 Crew Members On 'Ram Setu' Sets Test COVID+; Shooting Stopped

Around 45 crew members, including junior artists, on the set of Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Ram Setu' have tested COVID-19 positive. Subsequently, the shoot scheduled to start on April 5 has now been suspended to control the spread. Reportedly, over 100 people were tested as a precautionary measure. Earlier, on April 4, actor Akshay Kumar had tested positive for COVID-19 and was later admitted to Hiranandani Hospital, Powai on April 5.

Actor Akshay Kumar Under Self Isolation After Testing COVID Positive

Actor Akshay Kumar on April 4 announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Taking to Twitter, the actor said, "I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19." Moreover, requesting everyone in his contact to get tested, he said, "Following all protocols I have immediately isolated myself." Govt Nods To Conduct Underwater Study To Determine Ram Setu's Origin

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research and Goa's National Institute of Oceanography have received the Centre’s go-ahead to determine the origin and formation of 'Ram Setu'. The analysis of the 48-km-long limestone bridge will be administered via archaeological antiquities and radiometric and thermoluminescence dating.
