As LJP leader Chirag Paswan met with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar's Patna on September 8, the speculation has become rife about their alliance in politics against JDU and BJP. However, Paswan didn't endorse any such talk and said he met Yadav to invite him on the death anniversary of LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan. Meanwhile, Paswan said he couldn't meet CM Nitish Kumar because he didn't respond.
BJP National Secretary, Arun Singh announced Bihar's Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi as the candidate for the Rajya Sabha (RS) seat. However, the RS seat from Bihar was vacant for long after the death of LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan.
