Union Education Minister Hospitalized With Post-COVID Complications

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has been admitted to AIIMS-Delhi due to post-COVID complications. Testing COVID-19 positive on April 21, the 61-year-old minister was earlier also hospitalized. Later recovering from the deadly virus he resumed his office and was attending meetings through video conferencing. September 3: Third Day of JEE Mains Witnesses Above 80% Attendance

Union Education Ministry stated that 82.14% of the total students registered attended JEE on September 3. Reportedly, more than 1.4 lakh aspirants appeared on day 3 of the exam. Education Minister Says Country Supported Centre's Decision Over JEE, NEET

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on September 2 said the country consents to the Centre's decision of conducting the JEE Mains and NEET exams. While saying that examinee attendance was similar to that of last year, he applauded the way examinations are being conducted safely at exam centers following health guidelines. He also thanked all the CMs for cooperation at the state-level.
