In a queer arbitration move, a panchayat in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district conducted a 'lucky draw' to help a confused woman choose her groom. Reportedly, the girl had eloped with four men of a village under Azimnagar police station and was confused about whom to marry. The panchayat then suggested a 'lucky draw' by writing names on slips and asking a child to pick up a chit which decided the groom.
