Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's Grandson Asks Makers Not To 'Distort History'
Actor-director Randeep Hooda shared the teaser of his much-awaited film titled Swatantrya Veer Savarkar on the 140th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Randeep has made his directorial debut with the film which is all set to release this year. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose has rubbished his claims and asked the makers of the film not to 'distort history'.

Randeep Hooda Lost 26 Kgs For His Role, Says Producer Anand Pandit
Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda has made headlines for his massive transformation for his upcoming film. According to sources, the actor has lost 26 kgs, for his role in "Swatantra Veer Savarkar." In an interview, the film producer Anand Pandit said, the actor was surviving on a date and one glass of milk, shaved his body to make justice to his character Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Interestingly, Hooda is directing this film.

Songwriter Priya Sharma Issues Legal Notice To Highway Actor
Scriptwriter and lyricist Priya Sharma has sent a legal notice to the Highway actor Randeep Hooda for allegedly not keeping the promise of working in her stories and songs and later threatening her. A total of Rs 10 crore has been asked as her compensation. Sharma has accused both him and his acquaintances. Reportedly, Hooda and his colleagues have taken all her scripts which she prepared over 15 years.

Twitteratis have made #ArrestRandeepHooda a trend after a video of the actor allegedly cracking jokes on former UP CM Mayawati went viral. As the video spread, Hooda was accused of being 'sexist and casteist'. A Twitter user accused the actor of insulting "a dalit woman, who has been voice of the oppressed". While netizens are demanding an apology, Hooda is yet to respond on the matter.

Randeep Hooda To Make Web-series Debut With Jio Studios' Inspector Avinash
Going by the reports, actor Randeep Hooda will soon be making his web-series debut with Jio Studios' Inspector Avinash. The cop-thriller will be directed by Neeraj Pathak and Hooda will be portraying the role of an Uttar Pradesh Police officer. The makers are planning to begin the shoot from January 2021. Currently, Randeep is working on 'Unfair N Lovely' with Ileana D'Cruz. Netflix's movie Extraction was Hooda's first digital project.

Salman Khan to Resume Shootings from October 1; 'Big Boss' First Project
Actor Salman Khan is set to resume working on his upcoming projects, with shooting the opening episode of 'Big Boss' on October 1. Reportedly, the actor will then complete his film 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai'. The 'Radhe' team has a schedule of 10-12 days at a studio in Mumbai. Besides him, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and director Prabhudeva will also be on the movie set.

Radeep Hooda Undergoes Surgery after Acute Pain; To be Discharged Soon
Actor Randeep Hooda underwent surgery on August 26 at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai. According to the actor's friend, Randeep was complaining of acute pain on August 25. A source from the hospital has claimed that the actor underwent a couple of tests including the COVID-19 test for which he tested negative. On August 27, Ranbir Hooda, the actor's father revealed that his son is recovering and will be discharged soon.
