Congress Takes Dig At Govt, Asks When Will Vaccinate Remaining 35% People
The Congress took a dig at the opposition over the vaccinated population in India. In regard to this, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said, 35% eligible adult population, 36 crore people are yet to receive second vaccine dose, whereas 11 crore people are to receive first dose against COVID-19. Raising Omicron concerns, Congress asked, when the BJP government is planning to vaccinate remaining people, as promised by December 31.

Still Not Clear If Indians Need Booster Jabs: AIIMS Director
Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director of AIIMS in Delhi notified that India does not have enough data to state whether booster jabs are necessary for its citizens against Covid-19. He further said, “Information is still emerging... it will take some more months.” Reportedly, the booster shot helps to increase the antibodies. However, the WHO didn't recommend the booster jabs and also termed it a ''mockery'' of rich countries.

Congress's Spox Randeep Surjewala, Former CM Digvijay Singh Test Covid-19 Positive
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh have tested positive for Covid-19 on April 16. Taking to Twitter, Surjewala informed about his health and requested everyone who came in contact to isolate and take necessary precautions. Meanwhile, Congress MP and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh also tweeted that he is under self-isolation at his home in Delhi after testing positive.
