BBC has nominated Indian hockey skipper Rani Rampal, chess-ace Koneru Humpy and shooter Manu Bhaker for 'Indian Sportswoman of the Year' award. The Indian women's hockey team secured a 1-1 draw against the world number two Argentina in the final match of their tour on January 31. Skipper Rani Rampal emerged as India's saviour with her goal at 35th minute. However, the squad remained deprived of victory with four losses and three draws. After the game, coach Sjoerd Marijne said, "We had to play more smartly, but that's something we can work on".
