In another horrific incident, an Agra woman was allegedly stripped and sexually assaulted by 11 men. The incident occurred under the Tajganj Police limits, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Former Lover Rapes, Assault And Harass Girl For Ignoring Texts, Arrested
The Kashimira police have arrested a student for assaulting and raping his former companion, who left him after he refused to marry her due to their different faiths. As per report, 22-year-old Imtiyaz Chaudhary threatened to circulate private photographs and videos of the victim forcing the victim to meet at Mira Road. The accused tortured her, raped her and assaulted her in a private room of a lodge.

Bengaluru Man Rapes & Murders 3-Year-Old, Arrested
A Bengaluru man who allegedly raped and murdered a 3-year-old minor has been arrested, confirmed Kamakshipalya Police Limits, on February 1. Notably, the victim's mother was a worker at a garment factory and was in a relationship with the accused. The accused reportedly raped and murdered the child, when her mother was at work on January 31. The police registered a case under the IPC sections and launched an investigation.

Girl Found Hanging Under Suspicious Circumstances In UP’s Mainpuri; Allegedly Raped, Strangulated
In Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri, a girl was found hanging with a scarf under suspicious circumstances, informed police on October 5. It is suspected that the girl was allegedly raped and strangulated to death. The girl’s death has occurred when her parents were out of town and her sister was out for coaching. The victim’s sister upon returning home, found her hanging. An investigation is underway.

Teen's Body Found, Rape Suspected; Congress Criticises Police's Role
In Uttar Pradesh's Auraiya district, A 17-year-old girl's naked body was found in a millet field, confirmed police on October 4. The girl's family has alleged that she was raped and murdered, which has now taken a political turn. Notably, Congress uploaded a video on its Twitter handle, saying the police were "running away" with the body. However, the police denied the allegations, saying an investigation is underway.

Dalit Minor Girl Raped In UP's Ballia Region, 1 Arrested
In Uttar Pradesh's Ballia region, another rape incident of a Dalit minor girl was confirmed on September 15. A man identified as Tufani Yadav (22) has been arrested for allegedly raping a 13-year-old, said Circle officer (CO) Mohammad Usman. The victim's brother filed a FIR and a case under sections of the IPC and POSCO) Act and SC/ST Act were registered. The case is under investigation.

Dalit Minor Girls Murder Case: Postmortem Reports Confirm Rape & Strangulation
In Lakhimpur Dalit minor girls death case, a new development was reported after postmortem confirmed rape and strangulations. On September 15 evening, the postmortem reports arrived, which confirmed rape of the two SC girls, whose bodies were found hanging from tree in the village of Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, the police also confirmed to arrest all the six accused in the incident and launch an investigation into the matter.

UP Sisters Death Case: 6 Arrested, 1 Shot In Leg During Encounter
In the “UP sisters death case,” police have arrested six persons for their alleged connection to the case, while one was shot in the leg during an encounter. The sisters belonged to the Scheduled Caste community, and were found hanging from a tree in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri on September 14. According to the police, the girls had a love affair with two of the accused.

Pakistan Reports Over 2,000 Child Abuse Cases In 6 Months
An NGO has released a report pointing out the grim security situation in Pakistan. According to the report, around 2,211 cases of child abuse have been reported in the country in the past six months, with the victims including both boys and girls. Majority of those cases can be categorised rape, sodomy and abduction for sexual abuse, reported The News International.
