UP: 6-year-old Girl Dies After Being Raped By Cousin In Aligarh
A mentally challenged 6-year-old girl died on October 5 while undergoing treatment after getting sexually assaulted. Reportedly, the victim was raped by her minor cousin in Aligarh, and was being treated for the past 20 days. The Iglas Police informed that the accused was arrested and an FIR has been lodged. The police further said that the accused minor was produced in the Juvenile court and further proceedings were underway.

Haryana: Florist Raped In Paliwal; Police Identify Three Accused
The Haryana Police on October 5 said that it has identified the three accused who allegedly gang-raped a woman in Palwal area. Reportedly, the 25-year-old woman, a florist by profession, was called on October 4 to work for a wedding, where she was coerced into a room and raped. The Police have filed cases under IPC section 376-D(gang-rape) and 506(criminal intimidation). However, the accused are still on the run.

UP Woman Raped at Station Premises; Two Railway Officers Detained
A 22-year-old woman from UP was allegedly raped by two railway officers at the Bhopal main railway station. The Police said that the main accused, Rajesh Tiwari who is a security counsellor at the Bhopal Railway Division has been arrested and another officer has been detained. Reportedly, the victim had known Rajesh through social media and had met him at the Railway station after he lured her, promising a job.

Madhya Pradesh: 19-year-old Arrested For Raping An Infant Girl
A 19-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 18-month-old infant girl in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. The accused is also a relative of the girl. Reportedly, the incident took place when the child’s mother went out to buy vegetables, leaving her alone. According to the Assistant Superintendent of Police Shiv Kumar Singh, the accused was arrested from Jabalpur and has been booked under IPC and POCSO Act provisions.

UP: One Held for Sexually Assaulting 70-Year-Old Woman
The Uttar Pradesh Police on September 12 arrested a man of allegedly raping and assaulting a 70-year-old woman. Reportedly, the crime took place in the early hours of September 12 when the accused barged into the house and assaulted the victim. Haldi police station SHO Satyendra Rai stated that the accused used to work in the victim's neighbouring house. The victim was taken for a medical examination.

Teenager Kidnapped From UP's Police Station; Gang-Raped For Several Days
A teenager was allegedly kidnapped from a police station in Uttar Pradesh's Etah district, after being rescued and raped for several days by a group of men. The girl had actually gone missing from August 14. The girl's family alleged that the girl has been kidnaped by Luv Kush, whose proposal for marriage had come and was refused. "The girl has been rescued and a case has been registered against 12 people," said SP Rahul Kumar.

Delhi: One Person Arrested for Allegedly Raping 86-year-old Woman
An 86-year-old woman was allegedly raped in the Chhawla region of south west Delhi in the evening of September 7. According to a senior police officer, the victim was traveling to a nearby village when the accused, identified as Sonu (37), offered her a lift and turned towards an isolated area to rape her. Reportedly, the medical examination has showed several injuries and bruises on the victim's body.

Kerala: Rape in Ambulance Stikes Protests And Public Outrage
The people of Kerala held protests over the alleged rape of the COVID-19 positive teen on September 5, by an ambulance driver who already has a criminal record. The opposition, demanded the resignation from the state Health Minister K.K Shylaja, and blamed her for the crime. "The State did not care for the security of women and children and exposed them to crime wilfully," BJP state president added.

UP: 3-year-old Found Dead in a Sugarcane Field; Report Confirms Rape
A senior police officer on September 4 confirmed that a 3-year-old minor was raped and murdered in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district. The victim's body was recovered in sugarcane field. Superintendent of Police Satyendra Kumar Singh informed, "I am myself going for combing in sugarcane fields and strict action will be taken against the accused." This is third such incident reported in the district in last three weeks.

West Bengal: 37-year-old Tribal Woman Gangraped
In West Bengal’s Birbhum district, reportedly, five men brutally gangraped a tribal woman. According to the report, the 37-year-old victim was called to meet an acquaintance in a forest area, and was misdirected to a remote location, where the incident happened. The appalled victim was hospitalised, and the treatment is going on. According to the police, six accused related to the case have been arrested so far.
