Indrani Mukerjee, 39 Other Inmates At Mumbai's Byculla Jail Test COVID+
Indrani Mukerjea, the accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, and 39 other inmates at the Byculla prison in South Mumbai have tested positive for coronavirus. Precautionary, all infected inmates have been transferred to a quarantine center of Byculla on April 21. Notably, most of the inmates are asymptomatic and were detected in tests conducted after a woman prisoner attracted COVID-19. Mukherjee is jailed since August 2015.

Cipla To Launch Antigen Test Kits That Detect COVID-19 In 20 Mins
Cipla Limited in partnership with Premier Medical Corporation Private Limited will sell its new Rapid Antigen Covid-19 test kits in India. Capable of producing results in just 15-20 minutes, Cipla will roll out the kits shortly. While the test kits are manufactured by the latter, Cipla will hold the marketing rights of the kits. Reportedly, Cipla had also launched the ELISA Test Kit which can detect antibodies against the coronavirus.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Announces To Reduce Cost Of RT-PCR Test
Amid the increasing COVID-19 cases, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on November 30 announced to reduce the cost of RT-PCR tests in the capital. He said, "Whereas tests are being conducted free of cost in government establishments, however, this will help those who get their tests done in private labs." Reportedly, orders regarding the decision will be issued soon. The RT-PCR tests at private labs in the city currently cost Rs 2,400.
