Madras High Court Expresses Concern Over Underage Driving

The Madras High Court has asked the Tamil Nadu government to implement the Motor Vehicles Act to prevent any minor or underage person to drive a two-wheeler or four-wheeler. During a hearing,  Justice S Kannammal said, "This Court also takes judicial notice of the fact that juvenile driving is on the rise in our state." Kannammal expressed concerned and said, "innocent lives are lost at a young age."

Telangana To Roll Point-Based Digital System To Punish Traffic Violators

The Telangana government is working on a penalty-based driving system to tackle issues of rash driving and road accidents. The decision was taken after the year 2020 recorded an increase in irresponsible driving cases in Hyderabad.
