Over 4 Crore Ration Cards Canceled In India, Govt Reveals
The Union Government canceled 4.28 crore bogus ration cards between (2014-2021) in India. Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, the Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, addressed the Lok Sabha and informed the same. She said, states and UTs with the use of technology and Aadhar Card linkage, reported over 4.28 crore fake, unauthorized, ineligible, and inactive ration cards and canceled them.

One Nation One Ration Card: Govt Launches App For NFSA Beneficiaries
Advancing the One Nation One Ration Card programme, the Centre launched the 'Mera Ration' app on March 12. The app endeavours easy countrywide mobility of ration cards for the National Food Security Act beneficiaries, especially those migrating for livelihood. Andhra Pradesh Government To Deliver Ration At Doorsteps
To spare elderly/differently-abled people from waiting in long queues, Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy on January 21 flagged off 2,500 mobile dispensing units for home-delivery of ration.
