Shiv Sena Seeks Honesty Prove From Leaders, Asks To Sign Affidavit

After 39 MLAs campaigned against Shiv Sena, the party asked for a signed affidavit from its leaders and officials.  In an announcement, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena said, they would now seek honesty from their officials, including MLAs, Corporators, Shakha Pramukh, Vibhag Pramukh and Deputy Vibhag Pramukh. The decision to sign an affidavit came after massive confusion, regarding who is in Shiv Sena and who is protesting against it.

Rebel Shiv Sena MLAs And I Will Abide By SC Directives: Eknath Shinde

Ahead of leaving for Goa from Guwahati, rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde addressed the media on June 29. Shinde said he and other rebel MLAs with him will abide by the directives of the Supreme Court, over the decision on the floor-test plea, challenged by Shiv Sena. Notably, the MVA government challenged the floor-test orders, issued by Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, scheduled for June 30, at 11 am.

Aaditya Thackeray Calls Rebel MLAs Traitor, Challenges To Resign & Fight Elections

Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray called the rebel MLAs including minister Eknath Shinde a traitor of the Maharashtra Government. On June 26, Aaditya addressed a Yuva Sena National Executive Meeting, and said, on May 20, CM Uddhav Thackeray offered Shinde the CM post, but he did drama then and now rebelling. Furthermore, Aaditya challenged these MLAs to resign and fight elections. Notably, Shinde and 50 MLAs are in Guwahati, Assam.

Assam Minister Ashok Singhal Meets Shiv Sena Rebel MLAs At Radisson Blu Hotel: Maharashtra Political Crisis

Amid the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra, Assam Minister Ashok Singhal visited the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs, who are camping at Radisson Blu hotel in Guwahati. Notably, Eknath Shinde, leader of the rebel MLAs and the new faction 'Shiv Sena Balasaheb', claimed that he has the support of 38 Shiv Sena MLAs out of 55 legislators. Which means, the political crisis has slowly tilted towards Shinde, as of now.
