First-Ever Reliance's Laptop 'JioBook' Expected To Release Soon

JIoBook, a laptop, product of Reliance Jio partnered with China’s Bluebank Communication Technology and is rumored to be released in the market this festive season. According to reports the device will be supported by a Qualcomm processor along with 4 GB RAM and is priced under INR 30,000. As per listing on the certification website it may come in three different variants to offer customers a varied choice.

Supreme Court Holds Singapore's EA Award In Favour Of Amazon

The Supreme Court in its August 6 verdict restrained the Rs 24,713 crore Future Group-Reliance Retail deal. SC drew the verdict favoring the US-based e-commerce giant Amazon by holding that Singapore's Emergency Arbitrator (EA) was credible under the Indian law and can be implemented. Amazon challenged the Delhi High Courts' decision in the SC which certified the deal between Future Group and Reliance.

Reliance Retail Eyes Acquisition Of 'Subway' India

Reliance Retail (RIL), owned by Mukesh Ambani may acquire the Indian franchise of the world's largest single-brand restaurant chain, Subway. The acquisition is worth $200-$250 million. This comes in the wake of Subway's Chief Executive John Chidsey's attempts to restructure its sales strategies as it took a hit due to the pandemic. Reportedly, the RIL will gain around 600 Subway stores across India when the acquisition is on board.

Jio Launches Free Calling Minutes For Users Amid COVID Pandemic

To help users during the pandemic, Jio has teamed up with the Reliance Foundation to provide JioPhone users a total of 300-free-minutes of outgoing calls/month or 10 minutes/day. Moreover, ‘for every JioPhone plan recharged by users, they will get an additional recharge plan of the same value for free’. However, the users subscribed to annual or JioPhone device bundled plans cannot avail this plan.

Jio Accuse Airtel, Vodafone Of 'Unethical' Campaigns

Stating that port-out requests have significantly increased, Reliance Jio has accused Bharti Airtel and Vi of using the farmers' protest for 'unethical' campaigning. US bans its companies from working with China's Huawei: Reliance Jio, next potentional prospect

US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo, has given credit to RIL's (Reliance Industries Ltd.) 'Reliance Jio' calling it a clean company and whipped China's Huawei, calling it a Chinese-military controlled company. US has also implemented a ban on its companies and allies from working with the chinese brand. RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani claims to have never used a single Chinese equipment in 'Reliance Jio'.
