Asaram Bapu Given Life Term In 2013 Rape Case
Self-styled godman Aasaram Bapu has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the 2013 Rape Case. On January 31, Gandhinagar Court in Gujarat announced the verdict, a day after he was convicted in the rape case. Notably, a disciple of Asaram Bapu approached the police and registered a case against him, based on his statement, the self-styled godman was convicted.The so-called spiritual leader was booked under sections of IPC.

Women Carrying Human Skull Stopped From Boarding Plane: Indore
Sadhvi Yogmata, a religious leader, carrying a human skull in her baggage was stopped at Indore's Devi Ahilaybai Holkar airport from boarding a plane, said police on September 7. However, the woman said "the skull was of her late Guru and she just wanted to immerse it in the Ganga, Haridwar". She was stopped as she didn't have the permission to carry it.
