Religious Offering

A TN-based women named Vanithaa has chopped her tongue as a part of religious offering after the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won the assembly elections after a decade. The 32-year-old offered her weird desire at the Muthalamman temple in TN on April 3. She immediately fainted due to pain and was rushed to the hospital. Reportedly, Vanithaa had vowed to sacrifice her tongue to the goddess if DMK wins.
