Assam Guy Detained For Disguising As Shiva To Mount Protest Against Rising Prices
Man detained after disguising as Lord Shiva and woman as goddess Parvati who protested against rising prices of fuel, food, and other commodities in Assam on July 9 sparking controversy. It was condemned by Nagaon district units of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, who claimed that Hindu Sanatan Dharma Dharma values were offended. They were on a bike and staged a play about their bike running out of petrol.

Producers Apologize For Offending Religious Beliefs In Khuda Haafiz 2 Haq Hussain Song
The creators of Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 - Agni Pariksha have conveyed their regret to Shia community members who complained that the song Haq Hussain offended their religious sensibilities. LPU Sacks Professor Over Use Of Derogatory Language Against Lord Ram
Lovely Professional University has sacked a faculty member over alleged use of derogatory language against Lord Ram. The varsity released a statement which read, "We wish to clarify that the views shared by her are absolutely personal." The statement also added that the incident was regretted. LPU Vice-President has shared that the assistant professor was fired on 23rd April with immediate effect.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Preaches Brotherhood, Asks To Respect Religious Sentiments

Standup Comics Jailed For Hurting Religious Sentiments In Indore
Acting on a complaint by Hindu Rakshak Sanstha, the Indore police have arrested five stand-up comedians while performing at a cafe for New Year's event.
