Union Cabinet Approves Bill To Repeal Three Farm Laws

The Union Cabinet approved the bill to repeal the three Farm Laws on November 24. In the upcoming Winter Parliament Session, the BJP government will clear the bill, withdrawing the laws. The decision came six day after PM Narendra Modi announced to repeal the laws on November 19. The Winter Session of Parliament Session is Scheduled to begin from November 29.

Date Of Repealing New Farm Laws To Be Announced Soon: Govt

The date for repealing the three farm laws would be announced after the due procedure, said Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on November 23. ''Agriculture Ministry is the nodal ministry, they're doing what's required,'' added Joshi. Notably, PM Narendra Modi already announced that his government has decided to repeal the laws. The Government is expected to bring a bill to repeal the laws before listing them in Parliament.

BJP Govt Set To Repeal 3 Farm Laws, Says PM Modi

The BJP government has decided to repeal three Central farm laws, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 19. PM Modi announced the decision while addressing the nation. The three laws were passed on September 17, 2020 from Lok Sabha. While Rajya Sabha passed the bills on September 20, 2020. ''Today I want to tell everyone that we've decided to repeal all three farm laws,'' said PM Modi.
