UK Slaps Rs 20 Lakh Fine On Republic Bharat Over "Hate Speech"
Ofcom, the UK's broadcasting regulator, has fined Republic Bharat with Rs 20 lakh for spreading hatred towards Pakistanis. The regulator on December 22 imposed fine on Worldview Media Network Limited which holds the license for airing the channel in the UK. Arnab Goswami Shifted To Taloja Central Prison For Using Phone In Alibag Jail
The Maharashtra Police on November 8 shifted Republic TV's chief editor Arnab Goswami and two other co-accused in abetment to suicide case to Taloja Central Jail.
